FAQ
Q: Which Toyota & Lexus hybrid models do your lithium modules fit?
A: We stock 20-, 28-, 30-, 32-, 34-, 38- and 40-string lithium module sets for selected Toyota and Lexus hybrid vehicles. Compatibility depends on the exact model, year, market and battery configuration, so please send the VIN before ordering. We will confirm the correct product against our current catalogue.
Q: Are these batteries plug-and-play? Do I need to modify car wiring?
A: The correct module set is designed as a direct replacement and should not require cutting or changing the original vehicle wiring. High-voltage battery work must be completed by a suitably qualified technician, and compatibility must be confirmed by VIN before installation.
Q: How long is the full delivery lead time to the UK?
A: By placing an order, you agree to an estimated UK delivery period of up to 60 calendar days from payment confirmation. Production and vessel loading are normally arranged within 7–10 working days. We will tell you about material delays, and consumers keep their legal late-delivery rights.
Q: Does the listed price include delivery cost and import duty?
A: The product-page price includes UK delivery and standard import duty. Please review the final checkout total before payment; any separately agreed specialist service or remote-area charge will be confirmed in advance.
Q: What warranty do the battery modules come with?
A: Each unit includes a voluntary manufacturer warranty lasting 2 years or 100,000 km (62,137 miles), whichever limit is reached first. This is in addition to a consumer’s statutory rights.
Q: What do I need to do to activate the full warranty?
A: Promptly after delivery, record each cell’s voltage with suitable equipment and submit the readings with the order and vehicle details. This activates and helps us administer the full voluntary warranty. Missing registration may affect that additional warranty, but it does not remove statutory rights.
Q: What situations are not covered by warranty?
A: The voluntary warranty does not cover loss or damage to the extent caused by incorrect installation, over-discharge, collision or physical impact, unauthorised disassembly or modification, misuse, or failure to follow supplied safety instructions. We may request reasonable diagnostic evidence. Consumer statutory rights remain unaffected.
Q: Can I cancel my order after full payment?
A: It depends on how you bought. An order through our public webshop is treated as a consumer purchase unless an approved trade account and written order confirmation identify it as B2B. Consumers have a 14-day cancellation right after physical delivery and pay no administrative or restocking fee for using it. Approved trade customers have the separate staged terms: £100 before dispatch; after dispatch to 30 days after delivery, an accepted change-of-mind return has a 50% restocking charge plus non-refundable freight and customs costs; after 30 days, trade change-of-mind returns are not accepted. Faulty-goods and other non-excludable rights remain unaffected.
Q: Can I return the battery if I order the wrong model?
A: Ask us to check the VIN before ordering. A consumer who orders the wrong compatible model may still use the statutory cancellation process within the time limit, although we may deduct actual diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary. Approved trade-account purchases follow the B2B change-of-mind terms. High-voltage returns require an approved dangerous-goods carrier; estimated direct return cost is £200–£350 including VAT from mainland Great Britain and may be up to £500 from Northern Ireland, the Highlands or UK islands.
Q: What safety and transport documents are available?
A: Available conformity and transport documents may include applicable UKCA or CE declarations, RoHS information, UN38.3 lithium-battery transport testing and an MSDS/SDS safety data sheet. UN38.3 and an SDS support transport and safety handling; they are not blanket product certifications. Ask for the documents for the exact module before ordering, because requirements and document scope depend on the product and destination.
Q: Where are the battery packs manufactured?
A: The modules are manufactured in Mainland China and supplied in the UK by Hybrid Workshop UK Ltd. Each finished unit is subject to the inspection and cell-balancing checks described in its product documentation.
Q: Do you offer discounted prices for bulk garage orders?
A: Trade pricing may be available for approved garage accounts and volume orders. Contact us with the required module types and quantities for a written quotation.
Q: How can I send you my vehicle information for a quotation?
A: Use the Contact Us form or WhatsApp and include the vehicle model, production year, VIN, current battery configuration and any diagnostic trouble codes. We will check the matching module and provide a quotation.
